Car servicing, NCT and recovery
questions, answered.
Everything drivers usually want to know before they call, from service pricing to what happens after a 3am breakdown. Not covered here? The phone is quicker than any FAQ.
The workshop
What types of vehicles do you service?
Cars, 4x4s, vans and light commercial vehicles, all makes and models. The workshop handles everything from a city hatchback to a loaded work van, with the latest Launch diagnostic equipment reading every marque.
How do I book a service appointment?
The quickest way is to call (086) 446 1672 during workshop hours, Monday to Friday 8:30 to 18:00 or Saturday 9:30 to 16:00. You can also send a booking request through the contact page and we will come back to you with times.
How much does a service cost?
It depends on the vehicle and the service level, so we quote before any work starts and the price you are quoted is the price you pay. If anything extra shows up on the ramp, you get a phone call and a choice before we touch it.
Are your mechanics qualified?
Yes. Every vehicle is worked on by fully qualified mechanics using modern diagnostic equipment. Between the workshop and the recovery truck, vehicles are our whole trade, not a sideline.
Do you guarantee your work?
We stand over both parts and labour. If something we fitted or fixed is not right, bring it back and we will make it right. Keeping your service history accurate for warranty and resale is part of the job.
Testing: NCT, DOE and CVRT
What is included in a pre-NCT check?
A structured inspection of the areas the NCT tests: brakes, tyres, suspension, steering, lights, wipers, emissions and safety equipment. We tell you exactly what would fail, fix what you approve, and send the car to the test centre ready to pass.
Do you do DOE and CVRT checks for vans?
Yes. We prepare cars, vans and light commercials for the CVRT, still known to most drivers as the DOE. Commercial vehicles must pass it every year, so we check the failure points first and sort them before your test date.
Can you fix what the NCT failed?
Yes. Bring the fail sheet and we will quote the repairs, do them, and have you ready for the retest. Booking a pre-check before your next test usually costs less than a fail and retest cycle.
Breakdown and recovery
Do you offer emergency breakdown services?
Yes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The recovery line answers nights, weekends and bank holidays. We recover cars, vans and light commercials on our own flatbed across Meath, Louth, Dublin, Westmeath and Cavan.
How quickly can you get to me?
It depends on where you are and the traffic, so we tell you honestly on the phone rather than promising a number we cannot keep. We are based in Navan, minutes from the M3 and N51, which keeps most of Meath close.
What happens to my car after you recover it?
Your choice. We can deliver it to your home, your own garage, or straight into our workshop in Harristown so diagnosis starts the same day. Many breakdowns are diagnosed, repaired and returned without you making a second call.
Transport and fleets
How can I get a quote for car transportation?
Call or use the contact page with the vehicle details, the collection point and the delivery address. We move cars nationwide, including dealer deliveries, auction collections and non-runners, fully insured door to door.
Can you maintain our business fleet?
Yes. We build fleet servicing around your working week: scheduled maintenance, CVRT compliance and planned turnarounds, with one point of contact. Our own recovery truck backs your drivers if anything fails on the road.
