What does a fleet servicing arrangement look like?

We agree a service schedule for each vehicle, book the work around your jobs, and keep every record in one place. You get one point of contact and a workshop that knows your fleet.

The arrangement is built for owner-managers, whether that means two vans or a full yard. We start by listing every vehicle, its mileage, its service history and its test date. From that we build a simple schedule, so each vehicle comes in when it suits your diary and no two are off the road together.

You deal with one workshop and one point of contact, and the paperwork stays simple. Every make and model sits happily on the same schedule, and years of daily van work mean Transporters, Crafters, Sprinters and Vitos hold no surprises for us either.

How do you keep fleet downtime low?

Downtime is payroll, so fleet work is planned to avoid it. We service vehicles on a rota so only one is off the road at a time, and if a van breaks down our own recovery truck collects it.

A van in the workshop is a driver on payroll doing nothing, so fleet work is planned to keep every visit short. Routine servicing is booked ahead for the quietest day in your week, and where a job can be done while the driver waits, we plan it that way. Saturday slots, 9:30 to 16:00, keep weekday earners on the road.

Breakdowns are where a single workshop usually falls down, and where we do not. Our own recovery truck answers 24/7 across Meath, Louth, Dublin, Westmeath and Cavan, so a fleet van that stops is collected on our flatbed and brought straight back to the workshop that already knows it. Can you handle CVRT compliance for a whole fleet?

Yes. We track each vehicle's test date, complete the pre-CVRT inspection in good time, and repair anything that would fail. Your vans arrive at the test centre ready, without you running a spreadsheet.

Every commercial vehicle on the fleet needs a CVRT pass each year, and a missed test means an illegal van and a driver who cannot work. We keep the test dates for the whole fleet, and each vehicle gets a pre-CVRT inspection far enough ahead that anything found can be fixed before test day.

The inspection covers the areas vans fail on, brakes, tyres, suspension, lights, steering and the rest, and any repair is done in the same workshop by the same hands. That is the difference between compliance managed for you and a reminder app you have to chase yourself.

How many vehicles do I need for fleet servicing?

The arrangement suits owner-managed fleets of any size. If you run a couple of vans and a car around Meath, that counts. The point is not the size of the fleet, it is that every vehicle sits on one schedule with one Navan workshop behind it.

What vehicles can you maintain on a fleet schedule?

Cars, vans and light commercial vehicles, all makes and models. Transporters, Caddys, Crafters, Sprinters, Vitos and Transits are daily work here, mixed fleets are welcome, and the latest Launch diagnostic equipment covers the lot. If the fleet includes something unusual, describe it on the phone and we will give you a straight answer.

Do you collect vehicles that cannot be driven in?

Yes. We run our own recovery truck and transporter, so a van that will not start can be collected on a flatbed and brought to the workshop in Harristown, Navan. Runners are usually dropped in by your drivers around their day, and we book the slot to match.

What happens if one of our vans breaks down at night?

Your driver is not left waiting on a third-party contractor, our own truck collects the van and it lands back in the workshop that maintains it.

When can fleet work be booked in?

The Navan workshop runs Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 18:00, and Saturday, 9:30 to 16:00, by appointment. Fleet servicing is planned in advance, so we can hold slots on the days your workload is lightest, and Saturday mornings suit vans that earn Monday to Friday.
